Tuhinangshu is a Doctoral Candidate in the Safety Engineering Department at Fraunhofer IESE in Kaiserslautern, Germany. As part of the DN–AERIALIST project, his research focuses on development of Safety assured Machine Learning techniques for digital twin-based patient evaluation using assistive health technology.

Tuhinangshu obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, with a specialization in ML technologies, followed by Master’s in Medical Imaging AI under the EMJMD scheme of the EU from University of Burgundy (France), University of Cassino (Italy) and University of Girona (Spain); followed by Master’s Thesis research at the Mayo Clinic (USA).

His research interests include Image analysis, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques for detection, classification, segmentation and Generative AI for natural and medical images.
