Sathvik Kadimisetty is a Doctoral Researcher in the BIROMED-Lab group at Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Basel. As part of the MSCA DN–AERIALIST project (DC9), his research focuses on developing real-time, situation-aware controllers for robot-assisted overground gait rehabilitation, with the goal of personalizing therapy to patient-specific need. Sathvik integrates machine learning, adaptive control, and human-centered design to create robust algorithms for enhanced robotic assistance.

Sathvik earned his MSc in Robotics from the University of Bristol in 2023, where he specialized in swarm robotics and assistive robots. His prior experience includes applying reinforcement learning to develop controllers for quadruped robots, enhancing their agility and adaptability in dynamic environments.

His research interests now include adaptive robotic control, machine learning, and Human-Robot Interaction for personalized rehabilitation.
