Lucia Palumbi is a Doctoral Candidate in the Medical Technology research group at the Institute of Mechatronic Systems, Leibniz University Hannover. As part of the DN–AERIALIST project, her research explores multi-agent learning (MAL) for knowledge transfer among assistive devices. Her goal is to enhance devices adaptability and reliability, allowing for intuitive set-up and daily use. To achieve this, she aims to identify common patterns across diverse users and scenarios and develop MAL networks that allow for collective learning from shared experiences.

In 2024 Lucia obtained her master’s in robotics from École Centrale Nantes and KEIO University as part of the EU JEMARO program.

Her research interests include multi-agent learning, wearable systems, data fusion and human robot co-adaptation in assistive applications.
