Harry Morland
DC5

Harry Morland is a Doctoral Candidate in KU Leuven’s Mechatronics Research Group (M-Group) in Bruges. As a part of the AERIALIST project, his research aims to advance assistive technologies, with an emphasis on Exoskeletons, by exploring methods of collecting and processing data in real-time. A significant element of his research will be on the application of edge machine learning in this domain.
From 2020 to 2023 he studied a bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Cardiff University. His interests then led him to the University of Sheffield, where he studied a master’s in Robotics from 2023 to 2024.
Harry’s past studies at university have shaped his research passion: the classification of human signals, and their use in systems able to aid people in real-time.
